a dresser-turned-kitchen-island = genius

if you've never read the blog,
you should.

Jenny is the author, and her blog is where she jots down lots of beautiful design tidbits + beautiful eye candy.

She took a dresser
sans hutch...

and turned it into this ultra-fab kitchen island-

I don't know about you, but I'm totally inspired to find an old dresser to turn into my OWN fab kitchen island.

What about you?
Done any furniture makeovers lately?

That is gorgeous! I love the color. No big furniture makeovers for us, lately...maybe soon!

And thank you for stopping by my blog and for your nice comment--I actually used Sure Cuts a Lot to cut out the phone shape, so it didn't come on a cartridge...not sure if you've ever used SCAL, but it is awesome--you just connect your Cricut (and maybe other cutting machines? Not sure) to your computer with a USB cord, and it lets you cut out any shape that you scan or have a picture of (ie the phone!). You can also cut out letters in any font that is on your computer, which is really nice. I love it, and it's cheaper than a full price Cricut cartridge--though I buy all of my carts for cheap on ebay, anyway. :)
